On several blogs I fallow they do certain things on different days of the week. A schedule of events to always have something to look forward to. It even goes over to social media, for example on Twitter there is Follow Friday where people share who there favorite people they fallow are to get others fallow as well.

The Puppy Monster and The Wasp

So I was cleaning out the gutters on the house the other day, I had taken a much needed extra day off work thought I'd spend some time on the house. So I grabbed the things I needed did the back of the house and decided I'd tie Dingo to the beams across the front of the house so I loop her leash clip it on her open the door and invite her out (I use that term lightly cause she doesn't just yet fully understand the concept).

Its star wars day! Not really much I have to say about that topic just think fun to say!
Last weekend one of my best friends Kim married Weldon (Roy's brother) it was at this old library in Ada a small town in southern Oklahoma where Roy's family is from. Its now the Ada Arts & Heritage Center. You can see in the photos of the place the care that has gone into the building over the years.

Halloween and Stuff

We needed some normalcy in our lives so we put up the Halloween Decor. toke some photos we have had most of it for years but the zombie and the hand with eye are new. The bench will get webbing but today was windy so it was not getting put on today. Coming soon the return of cooking, and maybe ill take one from my sister and do wordless Wednesdays, she posts a photo with no words, it can be allot of fun.

So i noticed

That I did write very well informative walk through of the Mac N Cheese I didn't talk about how wonderful it was both as a side when we ate the extra then also the next night when rolled in flour egg bread and dipped in oil. It was wounder full and threw the process we have gained a love of Gruyere (side bar it just started raining I love rain.). I have been snacking on this Cheese since then. Its kinda nutty. Its so yummy.

So again one of the only sites I have access to at work is Fox News. I found the fallow recipe for fried  Mac N Cheese. Safety first, this requires using hot oil to fry please be safe watch for splintering.

So we watch allot of TV.

The fallowing link is to the shows we have recorded, we have 4 different DVR's recording (only possible due to were i work). i know its allot of TV, but really some show i watch alone, some shows Roy watches alone, some show we record and end up deleting, we have our favorites and ones we end up not watch but end up deciding to delete. i was reading on DBS Talk this guy toke the local networks and did all the shows for those net works on there own DVR's, then toke the non locals and added them to the other DVR's, again putting all shows for a single channel to a specific DVR. the logic behind that is that most non local channels will repeat a program latter that week. thankfully the DVR will look for the duplicate later that week if there is ever a conflict for those programs that are repeated. so maybe i will rearrange my recordings later. the way i had set them up is tyring to only record 1 show at any given time on any DVR. below is link to the spreadsheet showing the shows. its shared via google docs. Click here to view

Mrs Helen Louise Bell (July 10, 1946 - October 20, 2011)

The last two weeks have been challenging Roy's mom was sick in and out and in again from the nursing home to the hospital then was transported to Tulsa from Ada she was here less then a week before she progressed. they did all they could but weren't able to save her she was in Tulsa for week when she passed. There was a UTI that wasn't caught in time and went septic. The funeral was yesterday was one of the worst things to experience in my life. I am so glad to have known her and I am so grateful to her for giving me some of the most important people to my life.  From the Criswell Funeral Home website:

"Mrs. Bell died on Thursday, October 20, 2011, in Tulsa. She was born July 10, 1946, in Ada to Clyde Lee and Alice Gertrude Mosier Thomas. She graduated from Ada High School in 1964. She attended beauty school, was a waitress, and later worked as Quality Assurance Inspector at J. P. Emco.

She married Roy Don Bell Sr. on May 5, 1965. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1989.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Don Bell Jr. and Jacob Nelson, Tulsa; John Scott Bell and wife Jennifer, Ada; and Weldon Lee Bell and fiancé Kimberly Schmidt, Tulsa; one daughter, Khrystal Blankenship and husband Chris, Ada; one brother, Gene Thomas and wife Lois Jean, Ada; and three grandchildren, Holden Bell, Colton Blankenship and Kaitlin Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David Thomas, Joe Thomas, and Sammie Thomas."

Tuesday we had ham, and Ranch Pasta Salad.
Wednesday we had steak, potatoes and green beans, Roy grilled the steaks.

Fourth of july

so Monday i made the Root Beer. i didn't have a container that was big enough so i used scaled recipe i did a 5/6th version for the container i have. Before you read any further i have to say always be safe with dry ice here are some helpful guidelines.

This last week.

I left off with he wonderful meal Roy made for us on last Sunday. i didn't write all week because i was rather blue last week.

Just because i have to put something here.

So Friday we did pizza. Nothing special, friends came over we had drinks. Played video games Dance Central, Halo Reach, Perfect Dark, Child of Eden.

Saturday we just did tomato soup and grilled cheese, sat at home all day watched TV, movies and generally laziness. funny story is when i was a kid i thought people were saying girl cheese sandwich's. i am not sure where or why i thought that. or even when i realised it was grilled.
Sunday Roy made chicken Byran. It was yummie.
tonight we did subway. i miss them have provolone.

side note i am watching the ABC Family TV show Switched at Birth. unnamed girl says to one of the main character's how she doesn't understand the two girls don't even look the same. the response was "you do know the difference between switched at birth and separated at birth right?"

This will be short.

Number4 came to town to visit. 2 kids a bf and a dog. We had a blast. made buffalo burgers. It was nice. We had a lot of fun. Didn't use to much spice don't really need anything with Buffalo. Got a couple of buffalo steaks so every one could try them. It was a nice evening showed grandma what this hole facebook thing is.
Last night we did lasagna. Just used up left over red sauce from a couple of nights ago.
Like I said short. Good night.

A while back i had made couscous for Roy he didn't care for it to much thought it was rather dry. i really enjoy it so i was looking around online for recipes. i found this one on fox news. there was a slide show (click link to view). i thought the dish looked good and would do well with couscous.
also we aren't fans of mushrooms so we didn't use them, i used a bell pepper.

OK 3rd time is a charm.  Lesson learned I am saving as a draft as I go.

Newest phone the T-mobile, Samsung Sidekick 4G (SK4G) has an optical DPad on the right hand side, right were my hand slides over some times while typing. So the second attempt to post this my hand fat (lol)  erased. The first time I was righting it at lunch and I deleted it cause I hit delete not save. It happens also what I get for tiring to do this in a rush, at lunch and in the few minutes between talking to my Dad on fathers day, my Gma about number4 her two kids and her boyfriend coming to visit, my best friend and her new Nook and how much fun it is that she has the option of adult videos on demand on it if she so chooses to, and a friend/coworker showing up for dinner just any moment now.

Its gone... For now... 6 more inches on this last wens didn't take any pictures. Lets hope its over back to work in the am. I love looking at but not being in snow.

Wednesday.

Today no snow. we got passed. Not even rain. Tomorrow I am driving to work. The neighborhood is all messed up so it will be fun. I did 2 hours of OT and I and doing 4 tomorrow 2 on Tuesday, to make up the day I missed so I don't use an occurrence on just a day. (3 days in a row 1 occurrence)



Saw some of the big movie commercials I am looking forward to Captain America, Thor, Transformers 3, and Rio I don't know a thing about the plot but the birds look cool.

I was doing so good with reading last year I went threw so many more books then any other year I need to keep that up and get back into Vampire Academy.

Well this is good night.

Oh yeah still using the blogger app, it won't let me edit old posts, or check on other peoples blogs but google reader fallows them for me. Oh google the things you do.

Part two

We ended up with only 3 or 4 in bringing us to 16ish... Part 3 starts around 4 hours from now its Superbowl Sunday witch I really do need to be at work for its one of the top 10 call volume days Roy is driving me into work.

Snow. Snow. Snow. Snow.

And in case you didn't know know snow. It was a record breaking snow fall. More snow in 24 hours then we get in an average year. More snow then we have ever gotten during the month of February. More snow in a a single storm then any on record. Some place as much as 21 inch on February 1 2011. Here in Tulsa metro we got 13. Today we are getting more snow. When I work up expecting 1-2, now were looking at 6+ inches of snow. We are getting more snow late on the 5th to early on the 6th, and more on the 9th. It just keeps coming.
